The Irish Schools National Championship was held in Bantry Co. Cork. Twelve schools from around Ireland had qualified in earlier regional finals to represent their province. Ulster was represented by a local team from Loreto Milford made up of Rathmullan Sailing members who made the long journey to Cork. The event was won by the local Schull Community School.
