The Elmo Trophy is a team racing event for juniors hosted by the RSGYC in Dun Laoghaire. The event saw 36 teams from around Ireland and the UK competing over 2 days. Teams consisting of six under 19 sailors used flights of Fireflies to compete for the perpetual trophy.
A staggering 180 races were held over the weekend with the two teams from Rathmullan performing well against their more experienced peers. A gala formal dinner was held on the Saturday evening.
