August 6, 2024;
It was a beautiful August Bank Holiday Monday and the annual Regatta Day in Rathmullan. Following a highly competitive 3 race series, Lucy van Ruiven took home the Dan Joe Gallagher Memorial Cup. Leona McGarvey was placed 2nd with Lucy’s younger brother taking 3rd place.
The racing was followed by the annual Regatta Day reception attended by the Lough Swilly YC members who were also competing in their keelboat regatta.
